Alps Camera is currently focusing on mail-in purchases of used cameras and lenses!
Unlike in-store or on-site visits, there's no face-to-face interaction, so it's also recommended from a pandemic prevention perspective!

The general steps for mail-in purchases are as follows:

Pre-assessment ⇒ Shipping ⇒ Final assessment offer ⇒ Payment transfer

 

It's completed in 4 simple steps!

1. Pre-assessment

Please fill out the product details on the application form and submit it.

You can also apply by sending us an email directly.

If you are unsure about the product, you may send us a photo taken with your smartphone.

*When calling, please have the product ready when you inquire.

Please note that an email address or fax number is required to provide an assessment.

2. Shipping

Please send the product to our address with shipping costs paid by us.

Please protect the product with bubble wrap or similar materials.

3. Final assessment offer

We will inspect the actual condition of the product and notify you of the final assessment amount via email or fax within 2 business days.

4. Payment transfer

If you are satisfied with the assessment amount, we will deposit the money into your designated bank account within approximately 2 business days.
If you are not satisfied and wish to cancel, we will return the product with shipping costs paid by you.

Available Purchase Methods

In addition to mail-in purchases, we also offer in-store drop-offs or on-site purchases!

For in-store drop-offs, please bring your items directly to our store.

If you are nearby, you can bring photos taken with your smartphone and consult us at the store.
If the estimated amount meets your expectations, you can bring the items in.
Cancellations for assessment-only requests are free.


For on-site purchases, we will visit locations throughout the Kinki region.
Consultation with our staff will be required depending on the region, number of items, and their contents.


If you have inherited items or received them as gifts and are unsure of their names,
you can send us photos of the items taken with your smartphone!
We will provide a rough estimate!
