About Alps Camera

Our store is a specialty shop for photography and cameras, established in 1970.

Since its opening, Alps Camera has provided DPE services, including film development and printing, as well as photography services for many years. We also focused early on the sale and purchase of used cameras, a practice we continue to this day. We will continue to offer our customers the best possible service, leveraging the specialized knowledge and experience we have cultivated over many years.

The History of Alps Camera

Traces of the former head office, Kayashima branch (Street View from August 2009)
Although we didn't have records from the early days of operation within the company, Google still had traces of the former location.
As you can see by moving the map, it was conveniently located in front of the station.
*This location is already occupied by another business.


Alps Camera Senbayashi Ekimae Store (around 2017)
Our store in front of Senbayashi Station was well-loved by the local community. We particularly emphasized "color reproduction" and received high praise, including being recognized as the best store every year since 1995 in Fujifilm's color print development division contest.


Used Camera Buying and Selling Specialty Store (~2019)
Around 2017, we fully began buying and selling used cameras. We strengthened our efforts in the in-store reuse business and embarked on a new challenge adapted to the changing times.


Alps Camera Main Store (~2025)
Eventually, our main store was located in the center of the Senbayashi shopping street. Due to difficulties in maintaining the equipment, the DPE store was closed in 2025. We are grateful to all the customers who visited and provided warm support until the end. Currently, we offer buying and selling by appointment and pickup of online purchases at the same location.

We have an ID photo booth installed.
