SONY α7R + YASHICA ML 55mm F1.2

SONY α7R + YASHICA ML 55mm F1.2

This time, I'm using a SONY α7R with a mount adapter,
combined with the old lens YASHICA ML 55mm F1.2.
It's rare to have the opportunity to use a large aperture lens like F1.2,
so I went for a walk with excitement.

Please forgive the soft focus. Most of the photos were taken near the maximum aperture.
Enjoying old large-aperture lenses means appreciating the bokeh and the unsharpness near the maximum aperture, right?
It's extremely weak against backlighting, producing flare and ghosting. This is also a charm of old lenses. I often see this on Instagram.
Those were the sample shots.
The α7 series, with its high performance, is perfect not only for serious photography but also for casual use with prime old lenses. Of course, using SONY's G lenses or Zeiss series for sharp results is also great.
Its compact size allows for easy and expanded shooting possibilities.
